Our Story

The idea for Thread Slick was born in a small Ohio farm shop in 2025. We were doing the head gasket on my old 1994 Ford forestry truck. Things were moving right along until we ran into two old, rusty bolts stuck in the exhaust manifold. We tried to be patient, working them back and forth slowly, but they both broke off, leaving us in a whole mess of trouble. Sweating and frustrated, I knew there had to be a better way to free up stuck nuts and bolts, so we created it. 

We were blown away by how well it worked. We knew we had to get this in the hands of mechanics everywhere. Every single day, hard working wrench turners waste time and energy on stuck nuts and bolts. Not to mention all the other seized up metal they waste time on
